April 22, 2023 Young Eagles Rally

Here is the Young Eagles Rally report for our April 22, 2023 event.
We would like to thank all pilots and volunteers for another very successful Young Eagles Rally this past Saturday. We flew 86 Young Eagles, of that 40 were first timers. There were several new pilots, including Sarah and Scott Henderson (our first husband and wife team) and Sam Parsons. All three flew their first Young Eagles at this event. Our next Young Eagles day will be on October 28, 2023.
The rally also collected $120 in donations for our program. It took a team of about 30 volunteers to have a great rally, including the Wings of Grace kids.
One Young Eagle traveled from Texas to be able to fly in an airplane at our Young Eagles rally today for his birthday.
